Sadly, we lost our Fawn line a few years back so we have started again in the form of two totally different girls from totally different backgrounds and here they are:

                                 Dolores & Lacea

DOLORES

Our lovely Dolores forever elegant and majestic. Seen here approaching her 8th birthday and always a lady.   

Dolores is a tall elegant and very feminine bitch and we would say leans  towards the 'American' type. She is a striking 'red' fawn and has a strong black mask and soft deep brown eyes. She is very affectionate, some might say she is a bit too friendly, as she thinks nothing of plonking her bottom on some (any!) lucky persons lap - even if they have only just met! She is very particular about herself and often makes us laugh when we send the gang out in the garden when it is raining, only to find Dolly hiding under the conifer tree keeping dry! If we do get her up on to the patio etc, she will tippy-toe back very gingerly until she gets back inside - a case of oohhh dear, now I have got my tootsies wet!! - what a lovely big baby she is.

LACEA

Lacea is a very heavy set bitch following more in line with what we describe as the 'German' type. She has a powerful chest, strong head, good depth of muzzle and drop of lip. She is a very sensitive girl and at times talks a lot (a bit like Gina - Neates says I 'talk a lot and say naught' - not true! not true!!). She thinks nothing of expressing her indignance at being shut behind the gate in the utility room when we have visitors and she whinnies on until you let her in. So be warned - if you come and pay us a visit, you will have to be quick to get a word in between the two of us - but Neates will always make you welcome with a cup of tea while you try!!

Our dream came true when at last we were able to join the forces of  Dolores and Lacea... 5 years planning and KAPOW!!! Enter Desiree Dior...

DESIREE  :   (VARDANEL FLEUR DE LIS)

Desiree is an awesome Dane. She is powerful and imposing whilst at the same time having a vulnerability that makes her truely great!

Here she is at only 6 months old.

Desiree has an tremendous presence highlighting the qualities of her mum (Dolores) and her Grandmother (Lacea) ...

MURPHY  :   VARDANEL MORNING GLORY

Lacea had a stunning litter of fawn pups and this is where her contribution came from in the form of her son Murphy.

Murphy was always a big boy and any one coming to call, could always pick him out in the litter: here he is at 4 months old. We are proud to say that not only did he grow into a handsome, big and loveable boy, but his wonderful nature is second to none and he truly is the gentlest of giants. We are so pleased to see this lovely boy's nature carried on in the form of Desiree.

Murphy lives with Wayne and Angie Conde and their lovely children and we thank them for all they have done for him.
